Public University Students Get Better Scores
The average score for students in the public Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Honduras (UNAH)Â went up to a 66%. The average score in 2005 was 46%, an increase of more than 20% points.
This increase in scores is due to more commitment by the universities students but also the decision taken that students with average scores less than 40% would not be allowed to register for classes.
The university teachers and staff hope that this trend will continue in 2009 and higher levels of education will be achieved.
